Hi Guys.

Here is my review an account from my research of cloud based technologies in the market. I dont just pitch one idea verse the other. I use the best technologies in the market place to suite my clients needs. First of all, telstra is going in the right direction here. Since the NBN (National Broadband Network) will be rolled out in, the cloud based infrastrature is exactly what business need to keep running effectively. What cloud technology enormously contributes its success to is the following:

  • Software is immediately updated
  • Cheaper running cost
  • Universal user interactively

What this also means is that you need to look at the following:

  • Where is you data stored and how easy can you move it
  • Training users for privacy and functionality
  • How are you going to be on the internet 100% of the time.

Here you will find the answers to these question with the products available now in todays marketplace.

T-suite offer the following:

Microsoft Online Service – https://store.t-suite.telstra.com/jsdn/web/login/loginview.jsp?view=.view.jsdn.store.marketplace.browseservice&src=services#p_default2

Pros – 85% off the market is Microsoft. Cons – Limited suit of products

T-Suite® Business Software – http://www.telstrabusiness.com/business/portal/online/site/productsservices/businesssoftware.11003

Pros – Shows effort and experience put into this product. Cons – Your limited to what your domain account gives with this suite of products

Exchange email on Telstra – http://www.telstrabusiness.com/business/portal/online/site/productsservices/emailhostedbytelstrathroughtsuite.102160

Pros –  Seems to be a reliable service and comes with compatible data-packs from Telstra Cons - Doesn’t say that iPhone backup is available (software must not be compatible with iTunes)

Overall – this is the MS Online Services PDF package deal available – $380 per user per year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tell me if this still counters what you pay your IT Technician.

Telstra does not support these products personally. They are created by third parties, install by third parties and only resold under the Telstra banner.

Have a look at prices, installers available and services you get. If you have any questions please ask me. I will have even more experience from helping with an T-suite install coming up. Let know what on your mind :)
